Suyari (simple spear) (engraved as Yoshu Matsuyamaju Shimosaka)
A spear made by Jinbee. Jinbee is said to be a child of Magara “Jurozaemon” Naotaka, a commander of the Asakura family who died in the Battle of Anegawa. Jinbee was raised by Shimosaka Hachirozaemon, a swordsmith from Terada Shimosaka (Teradacho, Nagahama City), and later taken in by Kato Yoshiaki, a sengoku commander who served Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Along with Yoshiaki, Jinbee moved to Iyo Matsuyama and Aizu Wakamatsu, and this spear was made when he was in Iyo Matsuyama.
