Telescope made by Kunitomo Ikkansai
解説をみる
Kunitomo Ikkansai created a reflecting telescope for the first time in Japan. The telescope Ikkansai made used the property of a mirror to reflect light and was a Gregorian telescope that produced an erect image that did not change its vertical or horizontal orientation when viewed with the naked eye. Within the tube framework are a mortar-shaped concave primary mirror with a hole in the center and a concave secondary mirror about one-third the diameter of the primary mirror, which face each other to form the core of the object viewing mechanism.
